Primavera was launched in 1983 by Primavera Systems Inc., which was acquired by Oracle Corporation in 2008. Primavera P6 is a software used by owned by Oracle. It is used by project management professionals and also can be linked with ERP systems. It handles multiple projects and can hold up to 100,000 activities with unlimited resources and an unlimited number of target plans. It's basically MS Project on steroids.
